Debranding the Nokia n95 removes all the network operator logos and settings and overall makes the phone run much more faster, especially on the Vodaphone and Orange branded handsets. When you debrand a mobile phone, however it doesn't unlock it to all network. To debrand your Nokia n95, simply follow the instructions below in my quick and simple guide:
)Download Nemesis Service Software and Nokia Software Updater, both free to download onto your computer. You are going to use Nemesis Service Software to change the product code on your phone.
)Once you have download them, carry out the installation procedure.
)Once the install procedure is complete, connect your n95 to your computer, using a usb data cable.
)Open Nemesis Service Software and in the top right hand corner you will a icon, that will say, "Scan for Device". Once you have located the icon, click it using your mouse and let it scan the information off your phone.
)Now click the button called, "Phone info" and then click, "Read". Hopefully Nemesis should read the product code from your Nokia n95.
)If it read the code successfully it will display the product code. Now all you have to do is enter a debranded product code into the box provided and replace the current product code with your new code. Double check to make sure the product code you entered is correct. Now click a button called, "Write" and it will copy the product you entered onto the phone's memory.
)Now open Nokia Software Updater and follow the instructions displayed on the screen. Before updating the firmware on the Nokia n95, you make sure you battery is fully charged. This is because you don't want your phone's battery to die in the middle of the flashing process. If that happens you will brick your Nokia n95, so be extremely careful!
