How To Connect PS1 To Tv With RFU Adapter Cable

There are two ways you can connect your PS1 console to your TV either using a scart cable or RFU adapter. The choice is not restricted to whether or not you own the old or newer slimmer model of the Sony PlayStation 1 console. Using the RFU method is a little tricky to setup at first, but don't worry here you will find instructions that will help you with your first time installation.

1) The RFU connector will have a plug that will look like an aerial socket. You will need to insert this end into the aerial socket on the back of your television.

2) Connect the other end into the 'Av multiout' on the back of your console.

3) You will need to go into your TV settings and manually search for the channel that the PS1 is going to be displayed through.

4) Once you have found the channel and you can see the PS1 screen, save the channel and program it in.

5) Now that its programmed to that specific channel, it will be stored permanently and you don't have to go through setting it up again.
