Ok so are you thinking about getting a replica of a Ferrari scuderia or a another model? Think again!,if you even being serious about thinking about getting a Ferrari replica you will make a big mistake of your life.Ferrari replicas are fake and are not the real deal.People will laugh at you when you drive past because they hear the Toyota mr2 engine instead of the Ferrari growl.Most replica's are based on a mr2 with dino body kits.There are many on youtube to show you a taste of what the replica's of the 360,348,f40 and 612 look like.Even better now they are creating Ferrari f1 bodykits to fit on a lotus or Peugeot 406 its crazy!!!!!You might fool some, but others know that your car has just a Ferrari logo,but without a Ferrari engine lol...
Even i was tempted to by a Ferrari replica that was for sale in the uk and hear is 5 reasons why i did not want to buy it!
1)When you get a mot in the garage,the workers think you got a real Ferrari and think your the big man,but when they see the engine of a Toyota mr2 they will think your daft.
2)You can't fool everyone people know what a Ferrari sounds with that unquie lion roar from the exhaust system like unlike a replica has none of that Ferrari growl just a ricer noise.
3)Maintaining is a hassle what if you crack the body kit? Then you got take your car to Ferrari replica specialist's and it goes on and on on on.....
4)You can't really tell from far that its fake,but if you come across a real Ferrari the owner will laugh and you and your car then you will be the laughing stock!
5)You will be stopped all over the place in town,street because the public think your the big boy with a Ferrari,but the downside is people will find out its a fake and if they do then your car will be knows as a replica where ever you go!
But these days Most Ferrari replicas look like the real thing and you can't really tell if its all done perfectly.Well anyways i have left you a video and two wallpapers below for you to have a look at:

Good point but here is 5 reasons to buy one!

*Low service costs and ownership.
*Still a real fast car with a chipped mr2 turbo donar car.(Faster then the Ferrari 355 original)
*The f430 is still the nicest car ever build replica or not.
*You get a nice,fast and very fun car to drive for under 15000pounds.
If you use a mr2 turbo donar car and build either the 360(seen above) or the f430 and do it right. Then you have nothing to be a ashame of. Girls really enjoy this build, trust me.
You can also say you have build it your self!

DeleteI don't think it's about trying to trick people, I think it's about wanting the looks of a Ferrari for the price of a Skoda. Also MR2s are decent cars.
ReplyDeleteyeah. most of your reasons are the same. that people will laugh because its not real. who cares though. there aren't that many people that can tell if a Ferrari is real just from the exhaust and you can get a new exhaust system. even if they find out its fake, you still own a fast nice looking car that didn't cost your life savings.

ReplyDeletewell I have one a 288 GTO over pontiac fiero. Anywhere I go people taking pictures, coming over to talk about the car, yelling after me "nice ride!" etc. yesterday I've met with a real ferrari owner and he coulnt tell that its fake. anyway, i love it, enjoy it and that all it matter.

I have a 86 testarossa spider kit car everyone loves it!! It's got a 3.8 grand national engine that sounds great! I had a real 85 ,308 gts and everyone thought it was a kit car! Dam thing was always leaving me stranded. I have a blast in this testarossa spider. I know alot of guys with high end Ferrari's and they are afraid of driving them they don't want to get a rock chips or put Miles on them. If dome right Ferrari kit car's are awesome!
