1)Get hold of a cheap 12 volt cooling fan and connect to a 12 volt supply from your car.Place the 12 volt on the heat sink of the amp.The heat sink looks like a shiny metal colour that cover usually the top part of the amp.Place the fan onto of the heat sink facing the side were the fan blows out cold air.This method is the most effective way to increase the life span of you car amp especially if you bridged it down to 2 ohms.
2)Make sure you car amplifer is well vetailated and not coverd up or blocked by anything.This can stop the amplfier from getting rid of excess heat.
3)Give you car amplifer a rest.Every so often park your car to the side of the road were it is safe and turn off your car engine.Doing this will shut down the car amp for good and it will cool down the amp to a cool temperature.This is the best and last way if you added a fan to your system and your amp is still suffering from overheating.
