How to use a XBOX 360 CONTROLLER on a pc its easy!

Its kind of gets annoying when you play PC game with a basic keyboard and mouse.When Microsoft made there wired controllers for the Xbox, they made them also compatible with laptops and PCs running windows operating systems.In many gaming forums it has been asked again and again how can it be done.It is straight forward connecting your wired controller to a pc or laptop with a spare usb port as i explain how.

                              This guide is not for a wireless controller.

1)Go to Microsoft's official website and download there special software that makes your Xbox 360 controller in a PC controller.I have left the link at the bottom of the page.This amazing piece of software comes with all the drivers it needs to make it work, so there is no need to download them separate.Once you downloaded and installed it move on to step 2.

2)Get your wired controller and plug in the usb into a free usb port that is not in use.After you have plugged it in it should say something like new hardware found at the bottom the screen.

That is it you can now successfully use your Xbox controller as a PC gamepad without any mods, so you can now play in comfort.Some older games might not be supported with the controller.Read the game's manual to find out which control buttons do what.
