How to prevent air leaks from a speaker terminal cup


A terminal cup is a necessary accessory that you can fit into your car subwoofer enclosure, to make speaker connections much easier to connect and disconnect. Although many speaker terminal cups can cause air leaks, which can mess up sound quality.

How you fix air leaks caused by terminal cups, on your car subwoofer enclosure:

1)Don't buy cheap terminals that are built poorly.

2)Get some silicon sealant and apply it around the speaker terminal cup. Apply silicon were the air is escaping from the box will hop fully stop the air from leaking out ever again!

3)Get some strong cello tape and place the tape around the terminal cup, inside and outside the box.
