The Nokia n91 in fact is probably the worlds best music mobile phone for providing crystal clear audio, without any distortion at the highest volume level. As i was experimenting with my Nokia n91 music player, i found a few things that you can possibly do to maximise sound quality.
Below are a few tips and ideas on how to increase the sound quality on a Nokia n91:
1)If you bitrate is below 120 kbps, your n91 can't play high quality sound if your music does not a high enough bitrate. So if i were you, i would encode your music at 192 kbps or a higher bit rate, from the original source, to gain the maximum optimal of sound quality from this phone. The more higher the bitrate is, the more detail there is in the music file.
2)Upgrade your earphones, the stock earphones that are supplied with the Nokia n91 are decent, but there not the best.
3)Using the built in adjustable equalizer, adjust and fine tune each frequencies band.
