If your Samsung d900 is displaying limited service, instead of displaying the network provider name, try the given solutions that are below:
)Try the sim card, you insert into your Samsung d900, into a spare mobile phone that works and it not blocked/blacklisted. If the spare phone also displays a similar message, for example: no network or no signal shown in the signal meter, it shows the sim card is either faulty on inactive. The sim card is probably expired because you have not made any calls or texts for ages, or the sim card is new and it might need registering. If the sim card is expired or you don't want to register you details with the network operator, i would suggest you to replace your sim card.
)Hard reset your Samsung d900, using a reset code. To hard reset a Samsung d900 mobile, power on the phone, then in the phone's keypad type *#2767*2878#. Once you have entered that code, the phone will restart and will be reset. The firmware on the phone could have a minor bug, sometimes a hard reset and reset the firmware.
)Your imei number can be corrupted or incorrect, using software and Nspro, you can make the corrections. If you imei is not corrupted and is correct and matches the imei number provided on the box sticker, then there is a possibility that the phone is stolen or lost and sadly somehow got sold to you. Then the original owner of the handset, has likely placed a request for the phone to be blocked, this is so nobody can make calls and texts.
)Flash the firmware on your Samsung d900, with the latest firmware version because the firmware currently on your handset could have a technical bug that can cause prevention to network access.
)Replace the antenna, the antenna is a part in a mobile phone that receives incoming signal from a network operators phone mast. If this part is faulty because it is damaged, then the d900 will not receive any signal and will cause a "Limited Service".
