If you are wanting to make your car battery last longer, so you don't have to replace it often, then apply the two following solutions:
2)When you are leaving your car in cold weather, for a long period of time, remove the car battery from the car. Cold weather, especially during winter, will cause the chemicals in the battery to freeze up, which can damaged the battery permanently.
1)Clean the posts on the car battery regularly, using a baking soda, (See my other blog post, as i give detailed instructions on how to clean them). Clean them regularly, will help to prevent corrosion to occur on the posts, as corrosion is a substance that always wears down the car battery's performance.

In any car, the battery should be checked regularly to make sure it's working well. Cables need to be correctly connected and battery posts should be clean. If you're unable to jump start your car, you'll need to have it towed to a service station..
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the best way I've found is to get a good charger/maintainer and try to charge it overnight at least once a week. Every night is even better
