How To Make Your Sony PSP Run Faster

If your wanting to make your psp handheld console run more faster, then below are all the ways to make that happen:

1)Install custom firmware onto your psp console because it will expand the psp's potential. The main reason why owners of the psp console install custom firmware because it lets you play downloads games, as back ups of the games you already own, which is great. Installing custom firmware onto a psp console can be a complex, as it depends on which psp console model you have and which firmware version it is currently running, as you may require a pandora battery.

Once you have installed custom firmware onto your psp, you can increase the cpu speed to 333MHz, which will make your psp ram and processor work faster.

To increase the CPU speed to 333Mhz, when you are on the xmb menu, press select. Once you have pressed it, a red text menu will come up. It will say CPU clock xmb and CPU clock game, and it state the clock speed of the processor, at the end of the text. What you have to do is increase the speed to 333MHz and that is it!

2)If you play your psp games, from a UMD disc, as the source, then rip them all to ISO format. Once you have ripped them into a ISO format, copy them onto the 'GAME' folder onto the memory stick. Once you have done that, power on your psp and go to GAME-MEMORY STICK and you will see the the back up copies of your games you made.

The advantage of playing games from your memory stick, instead of the UMD drive are the following:

*You don't have to carry UMD discs with you.
*You games will load more faster because loading times will be reduced.
*You will increase the lifespan of the UMD drive because it is no longer required.
*You will save battery life.
