A Solution For a Car Amplifier Remote Wire With No Voltage

A car amplifier needs a remote wire to tell it when to turn on and when to turn off. Usually, the remote wire is connected from the car head unit to the car amplifier. When you power on your car stereo, its a sends a voltage down the remote wire to the car amplifier, which makes it turn on. If you having problem with gaining voltage from your remote wire, as a temporary fix, you can run the remote wire to the 12 volt power wire. Doing so will power your amp continuously, even if your switch off your car's engine. So i suggest you remove the remote wire connection when your car is not in use. If you leave your remote wire connected like i mentioned, by morning you will have a dead car battery.
