The car amp needs a turn on lead, to let the car amplifier know when to turn on and off. The turn on lead, which is also called a remote wire, connects to the car amplifier and then connects to the car head unit. On your car amplifier, were the ground and power wire terminals are, next to them you should see terminal that says remote. For a remote wire, you can use any sort of wire along as its below 15 gauge. Then connect the other end of the turn on lead to your car head unit, its usually a blue wire. Once you have located the location on were it needs to be connected, just run the wire through you car's interior and hook it all up.
