Will upgrading my car air filter make my car sound louder?

Adding a car filter is an affordable upgrade and will make your engine sound a little louder, when you put your foot on the throttle to the floor! A car air filter will be only noticeable if you rev you car's engine in the higher rpm range, only then you can hear a slight rasp. I recommend you don't buy cheap air filter because they will not add any power gains and are pointless. If you want a really loud car, its best to upgrade the exhaust system and add a cold air intake system, instead.
