How To Fix a PS2 Game That Freezes

If a ps2 game you insert into your PlayStation 2 console make your console freeze up, then the disc is probably got finger prints, smudges or scratches on the shiny surface of the disc. Remove the disc from the PlayStation 2 console and look at the shiny side, does the disc have smudges, finger prints or scratches? If it does, it is obvious that the disc is causing your ps2 console to freeze up, so using toothpaste to remove finger prints, smudges and scratches, is the only option to resolve this problem.

Instructions:

1)Using a lint free cloth wipe the shiny side of the ps2 game disc clean.

2)Squeeze a sensible amount of toothpaste onto the shiny side of the ps2 disc.

3)Using the lint free cloth, spread the toothpaste across the disc surface.

4)Using the lint free cloth buff the toothpaste into the surface of the ps2 disc for 5 minutes.

5)Wash the toothpaste off the ps2 disc, this is by washing the disc using cold water.

6)Leave the ps2 disc to dry before inserting it into your ps2 console.
