How To Fix a PSP Screen That Has Dead Pixels

If the psp screen has a few dead pixels, you can remove them yourself, without you having to replace the screen inside the psp console and spending more money. Dead pixels are created when there is not enough oil circulated into the area were the dead pixels are occurred on the screen.

To remove the dead pixels on a psp screen, follow the instructions that are provided below for guidance:

1)If your psp console is powered on, power it off, this is by holding the power switch for 5 seconds.

2)Once the psp console is turned off, you will need to remove the plastic faceplate that protects the screen, a screwdriver will be required.

3)Once you have removed the faceplate, you can now get access to the screen. So get a damp soft cloth and apply forced pressure onto the screen were the dead pixels is seen, this will circulate the oil into the area were the dead pixels are and will remove them. When you are applying pressure onto the screen, power on your psp to see if the dead pixels have been removed and have been fixed. If they are fading away slightly, power off the psp console and apply more pressure onto them until they have disappeared completely.

4)Once the dead pixels are fixed, then replace the faceplate and your done!
