How To Treat a Soldering Iron Skin Burn Using Your Own Treatment

If you have burned your skin because you accidentally touched your skin onto the soldering iron hot tip, treating the burn is the best way to get rid of pain and irritation. A soldering iron can reach temperatures around 190 °C, which is so hot it can cause your skin to burn, but only if the hot soldering tip gets in contact with your skin.

If your skin is burned because of a soldering iron, immediately pour cold water from a tap onto the burned area of the skin for 8 minutes, to reduce it swelling up.

Once you have done that apply a antiseptic cream onto the burnt area of your skin, to reduce it feeling irritated and prevent you from scratching it to relief the pain. I recommend you use a cream called ' Sudocrem' as it works perfect on burned skin.

Once you have applied an antiseptic cream onto your skin burn, if it is a small burn then apply a plaster over it. If it is a large burn, then wrap it with a soft bandage. Covering up the area that is burned will prevent dirt getting into the burnt skin, which will reduce the chances of it getting infected by bacteria.
