If you are giving or selling your Samsung e740, you will probably want to delete data such as your messages and contacts, this can be very time consuming if you have tones of contacts and messages stored on the phone's memory. To save you time and hassle, you can enter a hard reset code into the phone's number keypad, this will wipe everything off the phone in one go and the phone settings will be set to factory settings!
Instructions:
1)Power on your Samsung e740, with a sim card and wait for it to turn on and boot to the home screen.
2)Once the phone is on the home screen, enter the following code into the phone using the number keypad: *2767*3855#.
3)If you have entered the reset code correctly, the phone will be hard reset successfully.
