Nokia maps is a excellent application that is installed onto most Nokia symbian mobile phones like the Nokia 5233, 5800, N8, C6 and X6, already from the factory. It is a free application that transforms your ordinary mobile phone into a gps satellite navigation system that gives accurate navigation with good onscreen graphics. These days more and more speed cameras are added to roads across the world, to catch people going above the set speed limit. When you are driving you are concentrating more on the road, so therefore probably you will not watch out for any upcoming speed cameras, if you're using Nokia maps to guide you to your destination. So if you are using Nokia maps on your Nokia mobile phone, it has a built in speed camera warning and warns you on screen when a speed cameras are, if you turn it on, it could prevent points going onto your driving license and getting a fine from the Police.

Instructions:

1)Power on your Nokia mobile phone and run the application called "Nokia Ovi Maps".

2)Once the app has loaded up, select the spanner icon seen in the bottom left cornet, this is by touching it.

3)Then it will give you a list of options you can change, the option that you want to select is called "Safety Spot Warner" and tap it using your finger.

4)It will give you a option to enable safety spot warner, you want to select the "Yes" option.

5)Then click the "Back" option found in the bottom right corner and the select "Menu" in the left bottom corner. This will allow your Nokia mobile phone to exit from the settings menu.

6)You have now enabled speed camera warning and every time you drive past a speed camera, the phones loudspeakers will make a "Bleep" sound to warn you to slow down your car.
