A ps2 is affordable gaming console, it allows you to play games like Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Need For Speed Underground 2, classic games with decent graphics and gameplay you simply can't beat. These games are still fun to play, but if you have a retro collection of old school psone games and you want to play them, but you don't have a PlayStation 1 console, then you can play them on your ps2 console because it has backwards compatibility.
Instructions:
1)Connect the power and av leads to the rear of the console, flick the main power switch on the rear of the console. Then power on your television.
2)Press the power button on the front of the ps2 console, when the ps3 is powered on, a green light will appear on the button.
3)Press the eject button, the disc tray will come out, if there is a ps2 game or DVD movie disc in the disc tray, remove it and replace it with the ps1 game you want to play. If you want to save game progress, insert a ps1 memory card into memory card slot 1.
4)Press the power button again, this will close the disc tray and reset the ps2 console and the ps1 game will load automatically. The controls on the ps2 controller, will be the exact same as a ps1 controller, no different.
