The PlayStation 2 gaming console, also known as the ps2, is still a great gaming machine for some, even though the ps3 is out, because of its cheap price and its classic games, like Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Need For Speed Underground, games that you can't forget and won't get bored of.
If you don't have a regular DVD player to play movies you have burned on blank DVD discs you made at home, then thankfully Sony added compatibility to both the ps2 fat and slimline models, allowing the console to play original and burned DVD movies. This is great if you own a ps2 console and don't want to spend money on buying a DVD player, just to watch them on your television. Simply insert the DVD movie into the ps2 disc tray, press the reset button and it will load automatically and the movie will begin to play on your TV. From there, you can use the ps2 controller to navigate through the DVD, just like a regular TV remote. Or if you want a control, with a TV remote look, you can go ahead a purchase the Official ps2 remote control, designed especially for controlling DVD playback on your console, to give you the best movie playback experience you can possibly get.
