How To Sharpen Tweezers Without Sandpaper at Home


Usually if your pair of tweezers is made from stainless steel they will last a good few years without going blunt. If you notice that you pluck hairs and most of the time it misses the root of the hair, your tweezers are showing a sign that its worn out. What most people do is throw them away at this point and buy a new pair. However, if you have 5 minutes of your spare time, you can resharpen your tweezers and make them work like new. The best material to use for sharpening would be sandpaper, however you can also use a nail file, scissors or a emery board as alternatives.

1) Get the object you are going to use to sharpen your tweezer.

2) Place the pointed tip onto the rough part and and tweeze the object rapidly. 

3) Each time you do this, pluck some hair to test when get to the optimal point of sharpening.
