The aspire K1 uses an totally different design, if compared against regular tanks such as the i clear 16 that are a bit older. This is a newer type of tank that uses a bottom vertical coil, also known as BVC. This means that the coil is at the bottom and not at the top that's all. After a while, you will notice that vapor production is looking smaller day by day and you get a burnt taste in your mouth, i think its time to change the coil. There are different ohm coils. Coming in 1.6, 1.8 and 2.1 ohms. The lower the number the more vape you are going to get from your ego style battery. They are all the same price, just the higher ones can take more voltage.
1) Turn the pen upside down, so the tank mouth piece is facing downwards.
2) Turn the pen clockwise from the bottom that connects onto the battery.
3) Now that the K1 is in your hands, unscrew the bottom half off.
3) You will see a small coil attached to the bottom silver part once you have separated the glass.
4) Remove this and replace it with the same kind from your local e cig online or store vendor.
