If you have noticed that the volume level of your wired doorbell is not that loud anymore, you perhaps may need to give it a quick clean. Dust or dirt particles can get trapped onto the speaker grill which will obstruct the amount of sound that can travel through it.
1) Get a small brush and start off by dusting the top part of the speaker grill.
2) Get a vacuum cleaner and clean the speaker area.
3) Provide a final clean by wiping down the area with a damp soft cloth.
