If you want to play your ps2 games online, you will need to buy a network adapter, but only if you own the old fat style ps2 console. If you own a slimline PlayStation 2 console, you don't need a network adapter because it already has it built in. You will also need a fast internet connection and also you will also need a memory card with free space. To setup your ps2 console to connect it to the internet, you will need to buy a startup disc to configure the internet settings. The startup disc will configure the isp address and router settings and save them onto your memory card. Once they are saved onto the memory card, you no longer need to the disc.
If you don't have a startup disc, then if you are lucky the game that you want to play online should have the startup disc embedded, under the network options in the game's menu.
Some games that i have come across that have the startup disc embedded into them:
*Need for speed underground 2
*Jack X combat racing
*WWE smackdown VS raw
IT SAYS I CANT CONNECT TO EA SERVERS AND I PUT THE MORTAL COMBAT ONE AND IT SAID THE NETWORK CONNECTION FAILED PLEASE HELP.......
