If you want to change the color of the plastic battery cover or replace a broken cover, you will need to remove the current one fitted onto your Samsung Galaxy S3. Thankfully, the way the device has been designed no screwdriver is required to remove the back panel like with many iphones.
1) Power off device.
2) Remove any protective rubber case that is in place to protect the device from scratches or dents.
3) Look at the top next to the headphone socket you will see a grove.
4) Place your finger nail into this section and push the battery lid off the phone.
5) Line up your replacement door part and click it in place around all corners.
