Led lights provide great lighting in all kinds of environments, whether its cars or Christmas tree lights they look really cool and trendy. LED lights come in different colours and volts. The more volts you provide to your LED the more brighter they are going to look. For example, if your led lights are 12 volts and you are sending around 5 volts, they are not going to run at there full potential. You can also install an resistor into your circuit to enhance brightness levels. I would recommend anything from 300 ohm to 1k ohm resistors for 5.5 to 12 volt circuits for optimal performance and longlivity.
1) Attach a resistor in line to the positive wire coming from the battery.
2) Connect the remaining wire from the resistor onto the positive metal leg on the LED light.
3) Then connect the negative leg directly onto the (-) battery.
