Why is Sony Xplod audio not crap read more.....

Sony have a cheap range of subwoofers,headunits cdx series,amps xm series,6x9 speakers and tweeters all at a affordable price that you really can not complain with decent sound quality for money.Even though sony's range of home audio is better than there car audio range it stills rocks.Sony car equipments has many negative feedback and hated comments in reviews on how poor the quality of the subs are or the headunits break and cheap in terms of build quality but think about it you don't get quality for cheap do you?

Sony xplode subwoofers are good as other range's and brands and make excellent equipment for car enthusiasts.Sony xplods have to be in the right designs enclosure with the right cubic volume and the right tuned port length,hz etc.....If this is not correct then how can they sound good? Many people just install them in boxes that don't match the manufactures specs in the handout manual given.Well i have heard them and they are brilliant like i said for the price in your spending budget you can not go wrong and also for a first starter system for a young boy racer.There are many youtube videos that show you demo's off the subs and amps working i recommend watching, before buying woofers or any xplod series products so you get the idea how will they sound or look.

Many people also claim that they woofers blow up after days of heavy deep brain shaking bass.Why? because people do not match the correct amplifier with the rms watts of the sub and overpower the sub which only results in a burnt voice coil.So people if you have Sony xplods in your trunk then 100% make sure you run the same wattage what is required to run the woofer from the amp in a acceptable way.

People also claim that there amps are not that powerful as other brands if compared to jl audio or infinty,well yeah because they are a budget brand and sold in places like walmart and not ment for big money spenders.People who want to buy car amps and other audio stuff go by the printed wattage on the amp which is 100% is not the rms power! Thats usually the max power and max power and means nothing in the real world.Max power or peak power are not correct ratings of watt the amp or any other equipment.So what happens is people expect pure 500w of power but really only 250w of power are then think that sony is not a good brand because there subs get underpowered.Company's do this so you can buy the amp and trying to trick you into buying it by writing in big bold letters "500" watts to make you buy it and think you are getting a powerful amp and here is one example below:
