How to get more bass out your subwoofer

)Placing your subs in a ported  enclosure design box will sure give you more bass output and response in the low end of tuning hz frequency between 30-40 hz in the low end.If your sub is placed in a sealed box you do loose some spl but you do get some nicer sound quality.

)Run more rms watts power from the rms wattage you are currently powering to your sub.A car amplifier has to match the output of the woofer rms to get the best optimal sound from your amp. Also check if your not under powering as this is just as bad as over powering. When looking for a new car amp for your system make sure you match the rms ratings not peak or max as these are unrealistic numbers and do not show the true power of the amp.

)Make a new enclosure for your subwoofer can help improve and get more bass response.Building with thicker mdf wood is better if its available,as it stop's vibration. If you want to get more bass out of your woofers then make sure when you do build your new box you tuned between .35-40 hz because you getter bigger and better bass between these tuning frequencies with loosing much sq.If you want really deep bass tune to 30 hz as it will be perfect.

)Air leaks destroy bass quality,so running your box through with fresh silicon in all corners in the mdf wood will seal up any leaking holes.Make sure when you apply new silicon you let it try for at least 24 hours and remember don't place back the woofers when its still drying. If you leave your sub when the silicon is drying you can cause serious damage to the woofer voice coil and spider.

)Turn up the bass and turn down the treble can help get more deep bass out of your subs and make the hit more harder trust me.Tweak and play about with the head units equalizer settings can really help.

)Try facing your subwoofer enclosure in different positions can help bigger bass vibrations happen.Every car trunk is different some are bigger than others. So i recommend facing the subs towards the back of the trunk to get a optimized sub placement just like in the image on the left.
