*A psp console
*A video in mp4 video format
*A memory stick at least 1 gb
*Mini 4 pin usb cable
*A Pc to copy the mp4 video your psp
1)Make sure your video is in mp4 format and if its not then use psp video 9 a free software to use and download and convert any movies and videos into mp4 format.Make sure you set the resolution correctly that matches the psp screen size of the video you want to playback on the psp.If you don't match up the resolution correctly you will have corners cut off the screen and that will spoil the video quality.
2)Plug in your usb cable into the psp port and the other end into a free usb slot.Once you have done that make sure your psp is turned on and select usb connection under settings just like in this image below:
3)Then press x and you should enter into usb mode just like in the image below:
5)Once that is all done and the connection is active then find your psp in my computer.Then find a folder named VIDEOS on the psp memory stick.If you don't have a folder called VIDEOS on your memory stick then you should create a new folder with that name.Once you have located the folder copy and paste the video you want to play into the psp VIDEOS folder.If your using windows 2000 or xp use copy and paste or drag and drop if your using vista or 7.
6)Remove the usb cable from the psp.Then go into videos on your psp menu and you will see a memory stick icon just like in the image below.Next press x and select the video file you copied on to the memory stick and press x again.Your video should be playing and that is all you have to do.
