How to update the firmware on your Nokia

Updating the firmware version on your mobile phone can add new features and improvements, from bugs found in older firmware versions. 1)Fully charge your device.

2)Then head over to the Nokia official website and download the Nokia software updater for free.

3)Install it then run it.Then you can go ahead and connect your Nokia using a usb cable. Connect one end into the device and the other side with the usb plug into the back of your PC or laptop and plug it into in any free usb port that is available.

4)The first time you plug in your device with a usb cable, you have to let the software install the driver. Installing the drivers is automatic and can take around about 3 minutes depending on fast your laptop or pc is.

5)Once that is all done, then go ahead and reopen the Nokia firmware updater application again and it will welcome you to the software updater just like in the image below:
