How to fix a Samsung D500 white screen
The Samsung D500 was a great mobile phone in its time back in 2005.The Samsung D500 had all the features you need but the only downfall is the annoying white screen issue.Well do not worry in this guide i will shows you how you can fix it.
Firstly if you do get a blank screen on your D500 your should try to hit the battery with your hand using a little force.Hitting the mobile phone can cause the ribbon cable to fit back in its connector because sometimes after you keep sliding the phone the flex cable can become loose and fall out of its clip that hold it in place.The most common cause on Samsung mobiles for getting a white screen is because of the faulty ribbon cable.
If that did not work and you still get the white screen being displayed then you either need the mobile phone to be repaired from a mobile shop or you can repair it yourself.What you need to do is buy a new ribbon cable to replace the old cable and make sure its the same exact original part as copies don't last as long. Replacing the cable involves disassembling your phone and opening it up.If you have the screwdrivers and some or little electronics knowledge you can probably repair it yourself.
Once you have ordered the new replacement ribbon cable take a look at these two videos that show you how you can disassemble it apart.
Things you will need are all below:
* A small head Philips screwdriver
* A small flat head screwdriver
* A new ribbon cable
* Some spare time
* A Samsung D500
* Cello tape
thanks man i tried it and it worked
