Buyers buying guide for a perfect Subaru Impreza car

2005 Subaru
Are you looking to buy a used Scooby with a nice boxer engine?Well in this useful guide that works for all subs and i will tell you the key things you need to follow to get the perfect wrx,sti or legacy in your drive way.

All  the following tips are below to help you buy the right car:

1)Check if there any any oil patches in or around the engine bay.If yes there is a sign of leaking or dripping oil then do not buy it if its to expensive. It is probably just the Subaru oil capacity leaking.Well try to haggle the price down so then you can afford to get it repaired with in the spending budget you have.

2)Also check the oil underneath the chassis of the car,if its leaking then its likely the engine will blow up or fail on you after some use of hard rally driving.Sometimes a simple oil filter change, can solve the oil leaking problems.

3)Tell the owner of the vehicle to let you have a test drive.Once you got the keys get in the car and drive it hard. Then keep your ears focused on hearing any weird suspension noise's either in the rear or front.Keep your ears peeled for any random scraping noises. If you think the or feel the suspension is going then its probably needs a new kit or new parts to be fitted in the front and rear suspension coils.Or the simple solution can be the suspension could need brushing and cleaning out the dust and dirt if it start's to make any grinding noises. Before hand ask your local garage how much is it do get them cleaned out that way you know how much its going to cost.

4) Check out the inside interior space of the car does it look abused?Look for any cigarette burns, rips or tears or scratches on the dashboard panels and, door cards, cockpit and all the seating.Usually if there is a lot of wear and tear on the foot pedal's that shows that the car has not been taking car of in the past with the previous owners. The interior should be clean just like in the photo on the left hand side.

4) Also look at the gear nob, look really carefully to see if there is any color that has come of the nob.If there is slight color fading on the gear shift numbers then that proves that the millage has been clocked if its to good to be true and clearly shows the car has been abused. Also if you get a chance to have a test drive make sure that the clutch is not slipping out.

5)Make 100% sure that the bodywork on the car is in immaculate condition.Look and examine the front and rear bumpers for any signs that give away that the car was or in a impact.Check also for any scarped and dints and color fading. Also pop up the hood and look around for any extra suspicious welding joints that are unnecessary .

6)Drive the car fast and up to a certain speed that is allowed and quickly shift or should i say change all the gears up shift and down shift, while doing that keep your ears peeled for any grinding or rapid crunching. If you do hear them kind of noises it is most likely it needs a brand new or refurbished gear box fitted and that's not cheap! Also listen to the engine and rev up to 4000 rpm if you got any radio or music turn that off. Then listen out for any knocking or tapping noises,if yes it indicated that the engine needs so hard maintenance work on it.
