1)You have to get a unlocking code from a mobile phone unlocking specialist's.There are loads of different websites that give cheap unlocking codes for a Nokia c6, just search it in Google. The codes will not be free, you have to pay for them but its is still worth it.It is only free to type the code in yourself meaning without paying any cost for a mobile shop to do it.
2)Once you have received the code from the unlocking company, the next step is to type the code into your mobile phone.
3)Take out the sim card and replace it with a different network sim that your c6 does not allow and but the battery back in place. Then switch on you Nokia c6 and then it will say something like "enter restriction code" it might something else depending on your firmware version. You have to then type in the unlocking code, it usually starts with #pw+ etc....................
4)Enter then code that you got.
Note:
To get the letter p you have to press the * button three times.
To get the w press the * button four times.
To get the + press the * button 2 times.
5)Once the code is entered it should say something like "restriction sim bar removed" or "sim bar off".Now to test if it actually works put your other network provider sim into the phone and see if the phone allows the sim card.If it does then your phone is now officially unlocked.
