What does a phone mast look like?

A phone mast looks big and tall, like a lamppost and it is unique to the environment surrounding in most towns and cites. A phone mast is normally a grey color and standing next to it is a network operator box.

Here are some tips to help you spot and identify a cell phone mast in your own area below:

1)If your still not sure if you have spotted or found a phone mast, try looking at the transmitter box near the mast. On the box it will say the network operator's name and that will hopefully finalize if its a mast.

2)When you are close to the mast, get your mobile phone and remove the antenna. The antenna boosts and helps the phone to receive more stronger signal. Once removed, look at your phone's signal meter, if your phone displays very strong signal, it must be a mast for sure!!
