If your LG cookie recently has problems with touch screen not responding, try some of the solutions below to fix it:
1)When your touch screen becomes slow, take out the battery, with the phone switched on and place the battery back in the handset and switch on the phone.
1)Try resetting your LG chocolate to factory settings. Doing this can get the touch screen to work again because there might be a technical bug in the firmware and usually resetting gets rid of it.
2)If resetting does not fix it, then update it to the latest firmware version.
3)Replace the touchscreen.
