)Make a custom built enclosure that is ported and tuned to a low end frequency, which i recommend around about in the 31-35 Hz range. I have seen many xplod subwoofers installed in premade enclosures that don't have the correct amount of cubic volume, so how do you expect them to perform at there best?
)Overpower them with a extra 100 watts rms from your car amplifier.
)Tune you car amplifier gain to a point where there is no bass distortion.
)Don't face them upwards, face them towards the rear of the trunk.
)Use a graphics equalizer to enhance the amount of bass.
)Use a car head unit with a higher preout voltage. The more higher the voltage is, the cleaner the output signal, which is set to the car amplifier, which means more sound quality.
)Use a thicker speaker wire, only if the speaker wire you are using currently is to small. The size of the speaker wire depends on how much rms watts your car amplifier is pushing out.
I like it sounds right but what are good box sizes for my custom box?
