If you want to watch Freeview channels without any interruption in between, then you will have to place your indoor TV aerial in a higher location, more higher then the current location were it is placed in. I recommend you to place your indoor aerial in your loft and use a signal meter to locate were is the best location for it to receive the strongest signal. If for some reason you can't place it in your loft, then get some cello tape and place the TV aerial high up on your wall and using the tape to mount it. Doing this should improve the reception the television aerial receives.
If mounting the TV aerial doesn't make the weak signal more stronger, then i suggest you buy a good quality signal booster. A indoor TV aerial, that is not power by a signal booster, will always struggle to receive digital channels. A signal booster, will boost a weak signal and it will always help gain that extra signal strength, which is required for a Freeview set top box, because it amplifies the signal received from the TV aerial.
