In order to connect your computer cooling fan to a wall plug outlet, as a power source, you will need to buy a cheap DC adapter, that can provide 12 volts. Once you have that type of adapter, follow the instructions that are below:
)Your DC adapter, will have different sizes and sorts of plugs, that fit in various electronic devices. Now, get a scissor or a wire cutter and snap it off, as it it not relevant for connecting a computer fan to the adapter.
)Once you have snapped it off, you will need to use a wire stripper, to remove the insulation off the wires.
)Now get your computer fan and connect the positive wire to the positive wire on the DC adapter wire and the negative wire from the computer fan, to the negative wire on the DC adapter's wire. Once you have made these connections, get some insulation tape and tape the exposed wire braids.
)Make sure your DC adapter is set to 12 volts and plug it into your electrical outlet and switch it on.
)Your computer fan will successfully operate.
