Is it safe to overclock your PSP CPU, will it damage my PSP?

Overclocking below 333Mhz is safe and it will not damage your psp console or burn out the CPU. The reason why is because the processor unit in the psp console originally was designed to run 333Mhz. Sony underclocked the CPU on purpose, to save battery life. You can only damage your psp console if you overclock the CPU speed above 333Mhz.
