How To Charge a PSP Console With a USB Cable


In order to charge your psp using a usb cable, your psp battery has to have some battery life remaining on it. If you psp battery is completely dead and has no battery life left remaining on it, you can't charge your psp using a usb cable.

Instruction on how to charge psp with a usb cable:

1)Power on your psp console and go to settings, from the XBM menu.

2)Once you are on settings, select system settings and then select usb charge.

3)If the usb charge is tuned off, turn it on, enabling this setting will allow your psp to charge, with a usb cable.

4)Now plug in the mini usb cable into the psp and plug the other end, into a spare usb port that is available on your computer.

5)If your psp doesn't automatically go into usb mode, you will have to go to settings and usb connection and press X.

6)The psp power light will turn orange colour, which indicates the psp is charging from the usb cable.
