If you own a Gameboy advance sp, you know the ones that open and close like a Nintendo ds and the battery pack doesn't charge up, below are the solutions you can try to get it working again:
1)Inspect the wires of the charger, do they look damaged? Look for things like, split, brittle or broken wire connections. If you spot any damage in the wires, you will need to replace the charger, as it is likely to be the problem because the wires are not in good condition and will not create a proper connection. This can prevent the battery pack to get charged up by the charger.
2)If the charger looks fine, then using a small brush, clean the metal contacts inside the charging plug and the socket were you plug in the charger, which is found on the handheld console. Once you have cleaned them, remove the battery cover, then the battery pack from the Gameboy and using a small brush, clean the battery contacts. Dirt can prevent a proper electrical connection to occur.
3)If you have cleaned out the metal contacts inside the charging plug, socket and battery contacts, the battery pack is probably damaged or faulty, so replace the battery pack.
Thanks for this guide.
