If you have had a rough shave and your skin is looking bright red and feeling irritated, you have a skin rash. A skin rash can look and can feel unpleasant on your skin, but treating the shaving rash as soon as possible is the best way to get rid of look and feeling. A shaving rash can occur if the razor blade you are using is not sharp, pressing to hard on your skin, shaving quickly or shaving against the grain.
If you want to get rid of your own shaving rash in one day, then apply the following tips to yourself:
1)Apply aftershave on the area of skin that has a shaving rash burn. This will make you skin feel less irritated and it will reduce the redness colour of the rash, making it less obvious to people to spot. If you don't have aftershave available, then you can use creams called 'E45' or 'Cortision cream' and apply them onto your shaving rash. These creams also work effectively, just like aftershave and help to treat it quicker.
2)Make sure you don't rub or scratch your face with a rough towel or with your hands. This will only make the rash irritated and make it look redder!
3)Make sure you eat food that contains loads of protein, as protein is essential for growth and repair, which means that your shaving rash burn will clear up quicker.
4)Make sure you have lots of quality sleep because when you sleep, your skin repair itself. The more you sleep, the more quickly the skin is going to repair itself.
