The Nokia x7 is a handset that is made for music, along with other great features, features like a 8 megapixel camera, stereo speakers, a large 4 inch amoled capacitive touchscreen and of course a beautiful design. But i am not interested in all them features that don't relate to music, i more interested in the sound quality and loudness of the device. I think that Nokia mobile phones are becoming have speakers that are not loud and have poor sound quality. This is because the newer music handsets that are released by Nokia are getting small and so do the speakers, small speakers reduces loudness and bass.
But, i see that the Nokia x7 4 speakers grills on each corner of the mobile phone housing, this caught my eye and the next morning i went and bought this phone because i never seen a touchscreen phone with four speakers. This device has a audio chip, to increase the depth of music vocals, so it gotta be good. More speakers, means more volume and i though this will beat the Nokia 6233 and 6234 when it comes to db.
However, i was wrong, i tested the sound quality, as well as the loudness of this device and it is no better than the Nokia X6, using both the stereo speakers and high end earphones and a high quality mp3 file to put it to the test. The volume of the speakers puzzled me as it was not loud loud because Nokia didn't put four speakers in the dam phone, no, then only but 2 speakers and 2 speakers grills on the other sides of the phone for decoration. I know this because i have dissembled this mobile phone fully, to reveal the truth about how many speakers are actually in it.
So people it has two speakers not four!
When i have some time on my hands, i will post up a test video of the speakers, so you people can hear the sound quality of music it can provide, so stay tuned.
