How To Clear Xbox 360 System Cache Memory For Games Without Using a Code


Clearing out the Xbox 360 system cache helps remove built up data that gets clogged up in the systems cache. When this happens, a game can become glitchy and not work properly and the dashboard interface can become very slow. In the Xbox 360 cache, data such as game updates get stored into it and is the Xbox 360's short term memory source. If you want to clear the cache memory on your Xbox 360 console, go ahead, it won't delete your gamer profile or saves, so there is nothing to be worried about.

Instructions:

1)Power on your Xbox 360 console and then wait for the dashboard to load onto the television screen.

2)Then go to "My Xbox" and then select "System Settings".

3)Then select "Memory".

4)A list of storage device that are used with the console will be displayed in a list, what you need to do is highlight any storage device from the list and press the "Y" button on your controller.

5)Then select "Clear System Cache" from the list of options. When you select it, a message will appear on screen to confirm storage device maintenance, select the yes option and the system cache memory will be cleared.
