The Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone has a Micro SD memory card slot, which you can use to upgrade the amount of memory. If you take lots of photos, listen to lots of music, install applications or games, you will need to install a memory card into your phone. The type of memory card the Samsung Galaxy S4 supports is a 'Micro SD' memory card. This is the type of memory card that is really small that fits into the card slot found on the phone. The maximum memory card size that the Samsung Galaxy S4 supports is up to 64GB.
1) Power off your Samsung Galaxy S4 to prevent the memory card to become corrupted, when inserted in for the first time.
2) Remove the plastic back cover from the mobile phone. This is by inserting your finger nail into the bottom of the cover, followed by pulling it upwards to remove it.
3) Now that the plastic back cover is removed, you will see the memory card slot above the battery, right next to your sim card. Obtain your micro SD memory card, with the metal contacts facing down, insert it into the memory card slot.
4) Now that you have installed the memory card, reattach the plastic cover you removed earlier on back onto the phone. This is by lining it up with the back part and pushing it down in all corners to clip it in place.
