A car amplifier is used in car audio systems to provide that extra power to push the subwoofer to its limits. Since they have a large cone area and a big voice coil they need lots of watts to drive them to their full potential, unlike speakers. Depending on your vehicle, you might find it difficult to mount the car amplifier on the back or underneath the seats. The best possible solution would be to mount the car amplifier directly onto the back of the subwoofer enclosure. Since it is made out of MDF wood, it is a strong and durable surface that you can depend on.
1) Line up the car amplifier on the back of your sub box positioning it in the middle.
2) You will see a screw hole in each four corners of the amp.
3) Get a marker pen and mark each screw hole on the carpet.
4) Get an appropriate sized drill bit for the screws you are wanting to use. Attach this to your drill and begin drill each of the four holes into the wood.
5) Line up you amp accordingly with the screw holes you have just made. Then place a screw in each hole and using a screwdriver tighten each one individually.
