Some vehicles are more prone to picking up buzzing interference sounds and reproduce them into your car audio system. This can destroy sound quality because every time you press the gas pedal you will get the whining sound heard through your speakers. Having a solid grounding spot attached to the bear metal of the chassis usually fixes this problem. To minimize it further, you can build your own custom made car audio noise filter circuit and connect it inline to your CD player headunit loom.
1) Obtain two similar sized pieces of 16 gauge electrical wire.
2) Obtain a metal washer of some sort.
3) Wrap copper wire around the metal washer upwards and downwards so that it covers the entire area.
4) On both sides you will have two ends of the copper wire. Attach one piece of electrical wire onto one side and the other remaining wire onto the other side.
5) Using insulation tape, wrap it around the metal washer so that it covers the exposed copper wire to eliminate the possibilities of interference leaking in.
