How To Fix a PSP That Turns Off Itself

If you notice that your PSP console randomly turns off itself automatically without you flicking up the power switch, it is certainly not reliable at all. You don't want this to happen when your in the middle of completing a mission in a game after 10 seconds and it randomly turns off. This problem usually happens because of the battery pack is loose inside and moves when you handle the console. This can easily be fixed with some left over cardboard from a cereal box.

1) Slide off the battery compartment plastic lid.

2) Get a piece of torn cardboard about 3 cm and fold it into two halfs.

3) Place this on top of the battery pack and slide the lid back on. If your PSP still keeps turning off by itself, then add more cardboard.
