You can connect the Xbox one headset microphone to your controller via your console and chat to your friends online. Sometimes you may notice that you are having trouble hearing other people talking to you during playing games. This is most likely because the speaker volume is set too low to an audible level. Its very rarely that the other person on the end of the mic is talking low. So basically all you need to do is make your xbox one headset mic louder.
1) Press the guide button.
2) Go into 'Settings'.
3) Select 'Preferences' > 'Voice'
4) A small adjustable bar is provided to increase or decrease headset volume.
