If you have an iphone you may get horizontal lines appear on the screen after you have dropped it or have placed it in water. This can either by a software or a hardware fault depending on the cause. The first thing is to fix the screen is try a hard reset on your phone. Sometimes the software firmware files on the phone could be corrupt and damaged causing your phones screen to not work. If this doesn't work, then its either the motherboard or the screen that needs replacing. This can be costly if you are using original parts, so see if the reset works for you first to see if you can remove vertical lines on your iphone screen. Please ensure that if you have anything important that you back it up on icloud because a hard reset will erase everything off your phone.
1) Make sure the phone is powered off.
2) Hold down the sleep button and the home circle
button at the same time for ten seconds.
3) After 10 seconds the apple logo will appear on
the screen if you have done it correctly.
4) Then it will provide the first new start up
screen selecting your language and verifying your phone through itunes.
